Pepper, Sweet, Paragon

I'm in zone 8a in North Texas. The plants are very hardy and healthy and are very compact in their vertical growth with branch levels only an inch or so apart. I grew mine in both raised beds and in the ground. They produce a lot of peppers but only about half actually make it to the ripe stage and only about half of those are not deformed or otherwise injured. A lot of the failures were from blossom end rot or sun scald. Note that none of my other varieties of peppers had deformations or blossom end rot.
Their flavor is sweet and excellent. The walls of the fruit are thinner like a banana pepper. My largest pepper was about 4 inches long and 2 inches wide and shaped more like a poblano pepper. Even though I really enjoyed these peppers, I won't grow them again due to all the problems with getting a good final product.
