They are huge !!
May 24, 2024  |  By Michael
I can attest to the size being 6" to 7". Mine are still green after a few months in the garden. Also, I was unable to harden these peppers off. After 3 weeks of trying they still didn't like the sun, so I planted them in a shady area. Not sure why the hardening failed, I'm just an amateur grower.

Excellent pepper
Dec 4, 2024  |  By Sarah
Sturdy plants are heavy-bearers...lots and lots of 5-6" peppers. Fruit have thick walls and great flavor. One of the few peppers that will reliably turn to ripe red in northern Michigan before frost. Definitely a staple in my garden.

So many peppers!
Feb 15, 2026  |  By Laura Pinch
These ripened a little later than our Melrose and Pimento but they produced like crazy. We ended up freezing many of them because we had too many to use.

From late August through early October we were picking peppers daily. I gave a few plants to a friend and she had the same experience. They are delicious and extremely prolific. We're going to grow these every year from now on.
