Cornitos are only 5" long and 1 to 1-1/2" wide at the shoulders, very early, deliciously sweet and attractive smaller versions of Carmen and Escamillo, with similar maturity. Perfect for grilling and roasting just like their full-size counterparts or eating fresh. Strong sturdy plants yield prolifically all season long.

Prolific is right!
Jan 15, 2026  |  By Kelli
I grew these for the first time in 2025 and boy, were my two plants BUSY! They keep well after picking if kept in fridge, great taste raw or cooked. In the heat of the summer when my tomatoes were taking a break, these were the workhorses of the garden. Same with Cornito Giallo.
