Tasty King Bumper Crop 2025
Aug 25, 2025  |  By Shawn Wilson
I have to say that I had a fantastic year growing Tasty King cucumbers in the summer of 2025. I built a 7ft. high X 4ft. wide X 8ft. long structure with netting attached and picked 440 burpless cukes off of six plants. We had a period of extremely high temps this summer with heat indices of up to 110 degrees with super high humidity and the plants thrived. I am really pleased with this product and will definitely be growing them next season. The fruits were roughly 8-12 inches long and super crunchy. I really like the small seed cavity this cuke has. I made 85 quarts of pickles as well as eating a seemingly endless supply of them. Awesome results!!!
