Better than I could have hoped!

Wanted a winter garden so I grew these in a grow tent with 5 gallon DWC. These grew fast! It's almost like you could watch the cucumbers grow. They would put on an inch a day almost. Never saw anything like it before. Cucumbers were crunchy, thin skinned, very few prickles and exceedingly tasty. First time growing these and didn't know what to expect. The size can be 9 inches long but the diameter doesn't get bigger than your index finger which was fine for me once I realized at what stage they were ready for eating. I only had the one plant and it gave me so many cucumbers I had plenty for fresh eating and for fridge pickles. My only heartbreak was it tends to be susceptible to powdery mildew. No matter what I tried I couldn't keep it away. Nothing else in the grow tent had powdery mildew. I'll try them outside this spring and see if that makes a difference. If I grow them in the tent next fall I'll start preventative measures as soon as they get true leaves & see if I'm more successful.
