(VF LB SLS) 60-65 days. Beefsteak-type tomato bringing high disease resistance with the look and flavor of an heirloom that's sure to please home gardeners! Bright red, 2½ to 3¼", ribbed fruits are oblate-shaped. Weighing in at approx. 8 to 10 oz., and sometimes 1 lb. each, attractive fruits are full of delicious flavor. Great for fresh eating or incorporated into cooked dishes. Perfect for growing in raised beds, large containers and gardens. Early maturing, compact, bushy plants grow approx. 18 to 24" tall by 24 to 36" wide and deliver high yields in a short period of time. Determinate.

My problem tomato of the year
Sep 5, 2025  |  By Donna Streiff
This tomato fruit was much flatter with much deeper ridges than pictured. All fruit had extreme cat facing, some of which extended into the flesh of the tomato. Small brown spots developed on the skin. Thick core was hard to remove. Stem attachment was very deep on some fruits making removal difficult. Some fruit cracking. None of these things were observed on fruits of other varieties in my garden this year. Not recommending to others.

Good flavor/Great disease resistance
Dec 28, 2025  |  By Steven Mitchell
Our 2025 trial with more than a hundred varieties ended up being more of a Septoria Leaf Spot trial when we broke all of the July rainfall records. This was an absolute standout for disease resistance. For the taste trial, this was very middle of the road with good flavor, just a little behind Celebrity in our taste rankings. We will definitely grow it again.

One of our standouts

WonderStar hybrid was one of our standouts of 2025, and our best early variety.
I recommend for an early productive determinate red beefsteak, around 10 oz..
