75-85 days. The result of breeding at the University of New Hampshire in the late 1950's / early 1960's to create a pickling variety with fruits that matured at the same time to reduce the cost of production. Thick-walled, 1/2 ounce pear shaped fruits are very flavorful, with an almost smoky taste, and grow 1 1/2 to 2 inches long. Excellent crack resistance. Perfect for making pickles or fresh eating. Plants are very vigorous.
