If you're having problems growing tomatoes because of Late Blight, then you'll need to give this variety, bred from parent lines that are both resistant, a try. Large, round, great tasting, 12 oz. fruits have broad shoulders and are slightly ribbed. Excellent for canning, salsa, sauces and sandwiches. AAS judges agreed that the sweet, meaty flavor is better than that of comparable varieties and boasts good crack resistance. Strong sturdy plants are high yielding and also resistant to Grey Leaf Spot. Determinate.

I grew these last year from seed. Germinated great. I have struggled with my tomatoes for several years before I found these. The plants were gorgeous and set fruit nicely. These tomatoes were the hit of the neighborhood. Super meaty. Loved them fresh and on sandwiches. Also used these to make salsa and for canning because they were so meaty. I did havr to start spraying them with copper about half way through summer. They got hit pretty hard with mildew because of a super rainy season, lost almost all of their leaves but surprisingly they kept putting out fruit. I'm growing these again this year and will pay closer attention and treat the mildew earlier if it returns.
