60-70 days. Plants set loads of uniform, attractive, 4 to 5" long fruits that are 1/4" at the shoulder with medium walls and are heavy for their size. Mildly pungent, and can be dried or used fresh. Tall, sturdy plants produce many leafy branches and set continuously throughout the season. Thrives in hot summer weather with an expansive root system and great leaf cover to protect dark glossy green fruit.
