Fans of Ponderosa Pink will want to try this offspring of that popular heirloom, developed by a breeder in the 1920's for improved consistency and flavor. Produces moderate to high yields of blemish-free, 1 lb. fruits that are pink, round and juicy. The flavor, like a fine wine, is complex and rewarding - sweet and tangy, but never overwhelming. Robust plants, with heavy cover, resist foliage diseases and blossom-end rot.

This one takes a long time to make but worth the wait. The first one that got ripe I didn't think it was that good. Then the second came along @ 1.46 # and was so good. One slice will cover the bread for a BLT. However the last 3 I got off of the plant never made it in the house. I planted just one this year but next I’m growing more. This one is a winner!!! Highly Prolific, produced tomatoes all summer long, much better than any other variety, also disease resistance was great. Some cracking did occur, however the amount of tomatoes we picked made up for that. Just ended up picking them earlier rather than letting them ripen on the vine. Wonderful, will be planting these again.
